Help a Child Dare to Dream
A mother stands in the kitchen doorway of her family’s
modest home. She watches her nine-year-old son,
wheelchair drawn up to the kitchen table, brow wrinkled
in concentration, as he writes on a special piece of
Sunshine Foundation ‘cloud’ paper.
She doesn’t know what he is writing but she knows that this
letter could be the beginning of a “dream come true” for
her son and, in her mind, no one deserves it more. Her heart
leaps as she sees him begin to scrawl across the page…
